Scott Davis joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in April 1998, following a 16-year career in the United States Navy. There, he served as a Navy chaplain and attained the rank of lieutenant commander.

Currently pursuing advanced professional certification in financial planning from Old Dominion University, Scott earned a bachelor of arts degree in history from Scarritt College, a master of divinity degree in history of American Christianity from Vanderbilt University, a master of arts degree in telecommunications from Texas Tech University, and a master of arts degree in public administration from Troy State University. He holds Series 6, 63 and 65 securities licenses plus state life, health and property-and-casualty insurance licenses for Virginia and North Carolina. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association.

Married with two children, Scott serves as president of the Hampton Roads chapter of the Financial Planning Association, director of The Beach Tones (a senior citizens chorus) and a member of the Chesapeake Airport Authority.
