• About Scott Davis

  • Scott Davis joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in April 1998, following a 16-year career in the United States Navy. There, he served as a Navy chaplain and attained the rank of lieutenant commander.

    Currently pursuing advanced professional certification in financial planning from Old Dominion University, Scott earned a bachelor of arts degree in history from Scarritt College, a master of divinity degree in history of American Christianity from Vanderbilt University, a master of arts degree in telecommunications from Texas Tech University, and a master of arts degree in public administration from Troy State University. He holds Series 6, 63 and 65 securities licenses plus state life, health and property-and-casualty insurance licenses for Virginia and North Carolina. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association.

    As a First Command Financial Advisor, Scott is committed to helping his clients pursue their financial goals and lifetime dreams by bringing sound financial knowledge and trustworthy advice to a lasting relationship with each individual and family he serves. His areas of focus include:

    Married with two children, Scott serves as president of the Hampton Roads chapter of the Financial Planning Association, director of The Beach Tones (a senior citizens chorus) and a member of the Chesapeake Airport Authority.

    He enjoys flying, music and umpiring.
