For whatever reason, you have decided to take on a new career and the challenges presented by choosing independence. It’s exciting but you are also a little apprehensive about moving out of what has been a very safe place for a long time. The concern is natural and to be expected. First Command wants to do everything we can to minimize it by being there for you.

As a first-time Advisor you may very well have little exposure to the financial planning industry. Your first exposure will be through the licensing process which will provide the basics you need but you will still need extensive training. First Command’s commitment to you is to be there to help in any way possible.

Once you are licensed, you’ll be able to depend on a mentoring process to continue to hone your skills. Additionally, a highly skilled and professional support system of teams at the corporate headquarters will be there to give you assistance with any situation you might encounter which is outside of the norm.
