Corporate Governance

First Command Financial Services is committed to operating at the highest level of ethical standards, promoting understanding of our ethical obligations and holding ourselves accountable to established norms. Every person throughout our organization plays an active role in implementing our commitment to ethical business standards and practices, which are based on the solid foundation of the company’s core values. These values are the conscience used to judge what the company does, and as such are used to guide creativity, decision-making and the conduct of daily business.

First Command’s Board of Directors, the ultimate advocate of those ethical standards, is the governing body of the company. The Board selects the senior executive team, which is charged with the ethical conduct of the company's business. The Board acts as an advisor and counselor to senior executives and monitors their performance. In addition, the Board ensures that high ethical standards are an essential element of, and are reflected in, our everyday culture.
