Thank you for choosing First Command Financial Services for your tax preparation needs. Be sure to include a signed Engagement Letter when you send your tax documents to us (not separately). Please complete all required pages to assist us in completing your tax return. Additionally, we advise also completing the Consent Form and sending it along with your tax documents. This will allow your advisor to review your returns and assist with your financial planning needs.

Trust Client Tax Organizer:

The Trust Client Tax Organizer (CTO) Questionnaire is designed to help you collect and report the information that First Command Tax Services needs to prepare your trust return. The completion of the Trust CTO and the Engagement Letter are the first steps toward allowing us to prepare your tax return.

Tax Preparation Engagement Letter and Consent to Use of Tax Return Information:

Include the Engagement Letter with the submission of your tax documents. Tax Services will not begin the preparation of your tax return without the receipt of a signed Engagement Letter.

If you would like your First Command advisor to be able to request a copy of your tax return to assist them in providing you with financial services, please complete and sign this Consent Form and return it to Tax Services with your tax documents. The form remains valid until you instruct First Command Tax Services otherwise in writing.

Amended Return Client Tax Organizer:

The Amended Return Tax Organizer (CTO) Questionnaire is a short 3-page organizer designed to help you collect and report the information that First Command Tax Services needs to amend your return. The completion of the Amended Return CTO, copies of the tax return(s) being amended, supporting documents and the Engagement Letter are the first steps toward allowing us to amend your tax return.
