First Command signs football sponsorship deal with Naval Academy Athletic Association

FORT WORTH, Texas - First Command Financial Services, Inc., is proud to team up with the Naval Academy Athletic Association in a football sponsorship agreement benefiting the midshipmen and sailors at the U.S. Naval Academy.

“First Command is honored to partner with the Naval Academy Athletic Association as a proud sponsor of the football program at the U.S. Naval Academy,” said Scott Spiker, CEO of First Command and graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy. “We see this agreement as a clear demonstration of our support of the Navy and the Naval Academy and another example of our continuing commitment to programs that matter to service members. We are committed to enriching the lives of the men and women of America’s career military at all stages of their careers.”

First Command will promote the new partnership on the Navy Marine Corps Memorial Stadium Video board and via digital advertising on The company will also host a tailgate and hospitality event at the Navy versus Tulsa game on Nov. 12.

“We are thrilled to have First Command join the Navy Athletic Corporate team” said Chet Gladchuk, athletic director at Naval Academy Athletic Association.  “NAAA operates and funds 33 Varsity Sports at the Academy and First Command’s support will help support our Midshipmen and the Physical Mission.”
