Mike has truly honored my husband by how he has taken care of my family.
Mike Bunting became our First Command Financial Advisor in the summer of 2007 when my husband and I moved to Utah with the Air Force. Shortly after our arrival, my husband Ray met with Mike to complete some paperwork. Several weeks later, I lost my husband to a plane crash and became an Air Force widow. Immediately after finding out this terrible news, Mike was at my house supporting me and helping me. I had not yet met him, but he took care of us as though we were his own family. He guided me through everything that needed to be done and never once did I worry about anything. He guided me through making sure all my financial decisions were sound and tailored to our specific needs.
Over the years, Mike has been there to recommend to me people to help with my unique tax needs, estate planning, mortgage refinancing and more. He even spent hours standing beside me when I had to purchase my first vehicle without my husband. Mike and his wonderful wife Donnell even made sure that my son once had an incredible birthday celebration when he was young. Every time I have met with Mike, he has been a perfect combination of an outstanding financial advisor and compassionate friend. He always asks about my children and myself. I can always reach out to him with any question, and I never feel rushed or hurried during an appointment or phone call. I am grateful beyond measure for Mike and everything he has done for my children and me. He has brought a sense of confidence through the planning he has put into place. Through his guidance, I have a plan that takes into account mine and my children’s future. I am grateful that my late husband was able to meet Mike and shake his hand.
