Positive relationships with our Advisors brought our adult children into the First Command fold.

We started with First Command in 1986, while stationed at the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center in California. The presentation they provided and their clear explanation of how to plan for your financial future by setting goals – and building a balanced financial plan for pursuing them – really hit home.

First Command Advisors were available near to us at each of our last five duty stations. Our last two Advisors, Ed Miller and now Peter Schenck, helped us build a financial plan for pursuing our current goals, which have expanded to establishing a family trust fund and establishing a plan for long-term care.

Having a personal relationship with our Advisors has been a plus for our family – and brought our adult children into the First Command fold.

Thanks to Peter Schenck’s guidance, we are able to confidently pursue our goals as we move forward into our retirement years.
